Shoal Creek Park

Shoal Creek Park in Montevallo, Alabama, is a stunning 167-acre natural treasure offering over 9 miles of hiking trails that wind through a rich, diverse landscape along the banks of scenic Shoal Creek, a tributary of the Cahaba River. As part of the Audubon network, the park is a celebrated destination for birdwatchers and nature lovers, with habitats supporting an impressive array of bird species and abundant wildflowers that put on a breathtaking seasonal display year-round. The park features native cactus populations thriving in the park's open glade sections.
